“Chinese Democracy”, sold 47,000 copies in the United States in its third week of release to land at position No. 29 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD has shifted 365,000 units since it was released on November 23 as a Best Buy exclusive after a wait of more than 15 years.

A man accused of leaking nine unreleased tracks from the Guns N’ Roses album “Chinese Democracy” has pleaded guilty to a federal copyright violation. Kevin Cogill entered the plea this morning (Dec. 15) in a Los Angeles courtroom.
